Hazardous Area Classification Assessment

Hazardous area classification is a probability and risk assessment of manufacturing or production areas where flammable liquid, gases, or combustible dusts may exist in sufficient quantities to produce an explosion or fire. The assessment focuses exclusively on the minimization or elimination of electrical energy as a potential source of ignition.

Our team:

  • Utilizes specifically designed equipment and special installation techniques in hazardous locations to protect against the explosive and flammable potential of these substances
  • Provides hazardous area classification assessments that follow guidelines outlined in NFPA 497, NFPA 499, and API-500
