Coordination Studies

In the event of an electrical fault, protective devices isolate parts of the electrical system to stop current from flowing to the fault location. Proper device coordination ensures that faults will be isolated while de-energizing the smallest portion of the electrical system as possible.

Our team provides coordination studies that follow the guidelines set forth in IEEE and include:

  • A report that identifies time-current curves of protective devices
  • Any associated device miscoordination
  • Recommendations to resolve identified miscoordinations
