Process Control & Automation

Production processes that utilize automated control can achieve a higher level of accuracy and consistency than those that rely on manual control. Automated control systems can vary in size and complexity, but they all perform the same basic actions: 1) Instrumentation continually measures process conditions; and 2) The control processor analyzes the data in real-time and makes adjustments to variables (pumps, valves, blowers, etc.) as required.

Our team supports all aspects of process control and automation, including:

  • Identifying optimal control system topology
  • Designing control system communication network
  • Developing control narratives and programming algorithms
  • Specifying control system instrumentation
  • Assisting with startup and commissioning
