Jim Weikert

Jim leads the SCADA, substation modernization, distribution automation, and outage management systems focus areas. He assists utilities in long-term strategies such as smart grid roadmaps, business cases and modernization plans. Jim leads design and deployment of SCADA/DMS/OMS systems for cooperative and municipal utilities. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, WI and an MBA from Edgewood College in Madison, WI. Jim has over 20 years of engineering experience in wireless communications, hardware and software development, utility SCADA systems, utility automation, operation technology and strategic planning of technical applications.
